I'm a bit late on watching this movie, I never heard of it until this past Saturday thanks to Mark Portillo. I went in not knowing what the movie was about and I had many different scenarios, none came close! The animation and the storyline were done beautifully. It made me giggle, want to cry inside, and I had several outbursts of "Oh no!"

Considering this movie was released on 9.9.2009, this movie is on my list of favorites as far as animation goes.

The movie was directed by Shane Acker and produced by Tim Burton and Timur Bekmambetov. Voices by Elijah Wood, Jennifer Connelly, Martin Landau to name a few.

Definitely watch it when you get the chance!
