Mr. Mustart has been gracing Newark’s walls inside and out for the last several years. Using a variety of both traditional & nontraditional materials, Mr. Mustart collages together ideas of progress and forward movement. To Mustart, reality is “unreal,” and thus can be changed and molded like any other work of art. Reality can “grow into something else, something that instead of destruction can give birth to even more positive creativity.” 

Using the Solo(s) Project House gallery space, Mr. Mustart invites us to take a fun-house ride though the artist psyche. Challenging the viewer's perception of reality, he utilizes performance, as well as visual manifestations of his normal. As you buckle in to Mr. Mustart's physical and visceral vocabulary the end which seems so concrete, becomes far reaching and open ended.
