Pico & Barrington is a West-LA collective offering a great selection of strictly top-shelf medication. Their menu is better-than good, and the prices are affordable. They have differing varieties of concentrates, hashish and sugars. This dispensary has a great staff, but best of all the bud-tender was extremely patient. At most dispensaries the bud-tender wants to get you in and out as quickly as possible. It helped having three large comfortable chairs for customers to sit in while waiting. From a consumer standpoint patience matters because buying from a dispensary isn't as simple as it sounds. There are a multitude of choices and it's easy to feel rushed or overwhelmed. Pico-Barrington makes sure you're satisfied before you leave. Each customer has an unlimited time frame to make choices. Nothing beats that. First-time patients have a choice between several gifts, in addition to a gram of Blue Champagne Dream. I recommend taking them up on their free lighter offer--it doubles as bottle opener. I was stoned and chose a blunt-wrap instead.



Champagne Blue Dream is an attractive-looking Sativa. It smokes very cleanly and smoothly and provides a very mentally stimulating high. This is the kind of Sativa that helps you get work done. 8 out of 10.



Classic OG Kush, an Indica, is the definition of "lights-out." It smells amazing and tastes like heaven. This is a sleeping aid, pain-reliever and a just plain "Fuck-the-world-er" sedative all in one. 10 out of 10.

Northeast Collective is a family-run dispensary in Northeast Los Angeles that prides itself on customer service and satisfaction. They're open seven days a week with reasonable hours but no matter what day you go, the staff always is extremely helpful. When it comes to nuggets they always have a top-shelf selection of Indicas, Sativas and Hybrids. Their hash and concentrates are supreme. They get the job done. Unlike most dispensaries Northeast has a variety of edibles including ice cream bars and capsules, which are highly potent. Their topical sprays that should be called "Pain-be-Gone" because they work like magic. First-time patients get taken care of, but it's the entire experience that turns them into regular customers. When you refer people to Northeast they generously show their appreciation. There's one thing worth noting though, and that's their "1st and 15th" special. On the first and the fifteenth of every month you receive a free gram when you spend at least $20. That's hard to beat and that makes it easy to give Northeast Collective a 9 out of 10 rating.



LA Confidential is a gorgeous Indica with a matching aroma. It tastes smooth and isn't harsh on the throat or lungs. The high is a relief-delivering 8 out of 10.



Bubbah is a Sativa, and it has eraser qualities, meaning it eliminates any headache or mental annoyance you're may be suffering from. It may not be stony, but it's very effective. Pleasing on the tongue. 8 out of 10. [This was the free gram on the 15th of July]



As far as Indicas go, Black Diamond is of championship quality. The color is brilliant and the smell is captivating. The high is instant comatose and very healing. Best enjoyed out of a bong. 9 out of 10.
