Q-tip 9-29-08

Last night, we had the chance of a lifetime (thanks Kupi and also have to thank Noah for putting us on the list, but there was no list!) to see Q-tip perform for FREE at the Knitting Factory. Basically, our asses didn't know we had to text some number and some confirmation text was a proof to get inside the show. All we did was mention Kupi's name and we were in while everyone outside was jellin. I'm sorry!!!!!



Basing on the picture above, you can tell how long the line got. It was long!



Anyways, I must say it was packed like the door vomited people out. It was stuffy, pits smelled, but it was "feel good" music. Tip brought it back to Tribe to his solo album. Busta Rhymes and Spliff performed. Ahh! It was amazing. We jumped, we moshed, I sang along, I was the crazy woman in the audience. Everyone was buggin. I must say, I fell in love with hip-hop all over again. I came out of that place like a new woman.
